About the Song
This song is about the execution of Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti two Italian immigrant anarchists during the "Red Scare" of the 1920's in Boston. Most people today believe the charges were trumped up and that Sacco and Vanzetti were innocent and prosecuted for their political beliefs and activities.
