Here I am Lord

I the Lord of sea & sky, I have heard my creatures cry
All of Earth I dwell within, so shall I save
I who make the stars of night, I who make the dark & light
All of Earth I shall defend, whom shall I send?

Here I am Lord, is it I Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night...
I will hold your creatures in my heart

I the source of snow & rain, I have borne my creatures’ pain
I have wept for love of them, some turn away
Who are these with hearts of stone? Hearts I made for love alone
I will melt their hearts again, whom shall I send?

I the source of wind & flame, I will tend the lost & lame.
I will save a place for them, they shall be saved
Every life of sea & sand, Father Air & Mother Land
Humankind with mind & hand, whom shall I send?
