Griffith (1953-2021) was an American country and folk singer. She frequently performed with other singers and won a 1994 Grammy for her "Other Voices, Other Rooms" album. She performed with John Prine, a number of Irish musicians including the Cheiftans and Maura O'Connell, and with the surviving members of Buddy Holly's band The Crickets.
