Johnny Nash

Nash was born & grew up in Houston and first recorded in the U.S. He moved to Jamaica in 1965 & started a record company. He was introduced to to Bob Marley at a Rastafarian party and ended up signing the Wailers to his record label - helping to introduce Marley to the world. In 1972 his reggae influenced this reggae influenced hit sold a million copies.
